Service Terms
These are the standard terms and conditions for all services provided by Alliance Plumbing
1. Prices
Quotes are based on current labour, materials, and fixture costs. Valid for 30 days.
2. Variations
Any changes or extras not listed in the quote must be approved by the client before work begins.
3. Removed Materials
Materials removed from site become the property of the Contractor unless agreed otherwise.
4. Defects
We may suspend or cancel work if defects in existing installations make it unsafe or impractical to proceed.
5. Faulty Structures
We are not responsible for issues caused by faulty walls, slabs, or foundations not built by us.
6. Tree Roots & Ground
Extra charges apply for special drainage work needed due to trees, poor soil, or seepage.
7. Rock & Reef
Removal of rock, reef, or other hard materials is not included and will be charged as extra.
8. Existing Services
Damage to unmarked or unlocatable services is not our responsibility and repairs are at the client’s cost.
9. Hidden Issues
Unexpected problems with existing plumbing will be treated as extras.
10. Spoil
Excavated material will remain onsite unless removal is quoted separately.
11. Client-Supplied Items
We take no responsibility for client-supplied fixtures, fittings, or materials.
12. Payment Defaults
We may suspend work if payment is overdue. After 7 days, the contract may be cancelled, and work to date will be billed.
13. Delays
We are not liable for delays due to weather, access, labour shortages, or events beyond our control.
14. Disputes
Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Queensland law or referred to a mutually agreed mediator.
15. Collection Fees
We reserve the right to charge reasonable collection fees for overdue payments.
16. Ownership of Materials
All materials remain our property until fully paid. Damaged or poorly stored items will be charged at cost plus 15%.
17. Amendments
No changes to these terms are valid unless agreed in writing.
18. Roof Repairs
Roof repairs are not guaranteed due to the nature of leaks. We work through a process of elimination to identify causes.
19. Pre-Purchase Inspections
These are limited to visible and accessible plumbing at the time. CCTV is used where possible, but not all issues may be identified.
20. Blocked Drains
If equipment becomes stuck due to damaged or collapsed pipework, extra charges may apply for retrieval. We are not liable for the condition of existing drainage systems.
